CLEVELAND HOUSE INN, Newport – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were clean, albeit extremely small and in need of some refreshing. On the bright side, they were cute and cozy, which contributed to a comfortable stay. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to provide helpful information on the town, restaurants, and attractions. The location was a standout feature, with easy access to various venues and the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants. However, the dining experience fell short with limited options, although the food quality was good overall. Despite some room for improvement, the hotel offered a pleasant stay overall.

My stay at the Cleveland House was truly delightful. The rooms were nicely decorated and provided the quiet ambiance I needed for a relaxing vacation. However, it would be great if they could fix the sagging chair in the room and add another chair for convenience. The helpful service exceeded my expectations and made my experience even better. The location was perfect, right near Thames street but not noisy, making it easy to explore Newport. On the downside, some aspects of the dining experience fell short of expectations, with a noisy and outdated AC system. Overall, a pleasant stay with some room for improvement.
